Responsibilities

In the interest of enhancing and protecting the value, desirability, and attractiveness of the properties within The Retreat, each property is subject to certain Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs). The document goes with the title to the property and defines certain rights and responsibilities of home owners. Its major sections include: "See Governing Documents"

If you live in The Retreat, it's important that you read, understand, and comply with the entire document. A few of the more common violations include:

  1. Parking,

  2. Architectural review,

  3. Trash cans, and

  4. Signage.

Please be sure to review Article VIII, Use of Properties and Restrictions, carefully. Failure to comply with the CC&Rs can result in fines being levied against the property owner.
